Andrew was riding the Yuba Mundo to work the other morning, and as he rode by North pond in Lincoln Park, his route was blocked by this turtle trying to get across the path to the pond. As soon as that turtle saw the big orange bike he quickly withdrew into his shell.  Andrew was going to pick him up and help him along his way, but thought better of it – probably best just to leave the little guy alone.
A minute or so later, this woman and her dog came upon our turtle friend, but besides a few sniffs, the dog left the turtle alone so that once all the gawkers moved on, he could make his way to the pond.  No wonder Andrew loves his bike rides to work in the morning!
