Submit Your Nominations for Best Bike Parking in Chicago!

Both Steve Vance (Grid Chicago, Steven Can Plan)  and I write about the good, the bad, and the ugly in terms of bike parking here in Chicago.  We’re going to kick off 2012 with a new tactic in our battle against meager bike parking options in this city. Instead of calling out the bad apples in Chicago’s bike-parking scene we have decided to celebrate those establishments that get it – those that provide quality bike parking for cyclists.  And, we would like YOUR help!

A properly spaced wave rack provides a good place to lock one’s bike because you can put the front wheel on the opposite side and lock both the bicycle’s front wheel and frame.  (Photo courtesy of Steve Vance)

Help us out and submit your nominations (using the form below)  for the best bike parking spots in the city!

  • Be sure to include an address
  • We’ll take nominations until Friday January 20th
  • Grid Chicago and Ding Ding Let’s Ride will announce the winners the following week
