Chicago Bike To Work Week Tuesday 6/14 – Milwaukee Avenue

Chicago’s Bike to Work Week is well underway and we’ve had great weather so far and lots of bikes out on the streets.   Every day there are bike “Pit Stops” all over the city and suburbs to make your ride in just a little more fun.  On Friday, just to make sure you get yourself up and out in time to hit the Bike to Work Rally downtown, The Active Transportation Alliance has teamed up with Caribou Coffee to host four pre-rally meet-up locations around the city.  Show up by 7:00am and get a free medium coffee with any purchase before you ride on down to the rally.  The free java deal does run until 10:00am for you slackers out there too.   If you stop by one of these four locations in the city, you’ll probably also  run into a local bike blogger or two since a few of us have volunteered to host these coffee klatches and lead the rides down to the rally.

We’ll be keeping everyone up to date with all the Bike to Work (aka #B2WW) activities on Twitter so check in with us on twitter to find out who’s going to be where Friday morning.

And of course, keep following @activetrans too!

I’m the host of 3240 N Ashland. This will be the route I lead. Unfortunately going via Kinzie is not convenient because of the Halsted bridge detour at Division.
