Cyclofemme: Mother’s Day Bike Rides for Everyone

Want to do a little something different for Mother’s Day?

Try out a Cyclofemme ride! Cyclofemme is a socially-driven, world-wide celebration of women on bikes that celebrates the awesomeness of biking by getting everyone regardless of gender, age, ethnicity or bicycle preference to share in the joy of cycling.  Last year, the first year of the ride, there were 163 rides registered in 14 countries!  This year, again on Mother’s Day, there are 2 rides here in Chicago, a few others in Illinois, and a lot more around the country and around the world. Check out this list of all the scheduled rides coming up around the world this weekend.

If you want to get out and ride on Sunday, you’ve got two options here in Chicago.

The entire, extended, Ding Ding Let’s Ride family will be meeting up with Maria for the lakefront ride, so please come and join us if you can.  Little Ding’s mom will be joining Mr. Ding, Little Ding, and myself  for this Mother’s Day ride too! This will be the first time all of us will have done a ride together and we are so looking forward to it.

Come a little early (weather-permitting) for a mimosa and snacks if you can.  You know my Dutch bike packs a mean picnic basket.
