Chicago Kidical Mass Ride: Roscoe Village November 2013

It was an absolutely beautiful Fall Sunday to be out biking around Chicago this past weekend, and the Ding Ding Let’s Ride family made it out to the 2nd Roscoe Village Kidical Mass Ride to take in the great weather.  We’ve not been able to make the last few Kidical Mass Rides in Logan Square or the new neighborhood rides that have been popping up, so we were rather looking forward to this ride.

Lesley and Alex from Roscoe Village Bikes organized this month’s ride, and Lesley got everyone organized and up-to-speed with how a Kidical Mass ride generally works before we all headed out.

Some of the couriers (and a friend) from Cut Cats Courier joined our ride to help with escorting our ride through intersections – Thanks guys!

Everyone got their bikes loaded up and we headed out!

Not sure which one of them put their hands in their mouth first? ;-)

Not sure who is copying who here?

Wait - there's one more rider in this family hiding out on the other bike!

What a beautiful morning for a ride!

Another one of the ride organizers, Rebecca, leads the way on her Bakfiets.

Smiles all around!

It was a short ride, but a fun ride and we’re really looking forward to the December Roscoe Village ride.  If you can’t wait that long though, there is Kidical Mass ride in Logan/Palmer Square next Saturday (11/9) too.  Check out the Chicago Kidical Mass website for info on all the neighborhood rides around the city, or follow them on Facebook.
