This past Saturday was the January Kidical Mass ride in the Palmer/Logan Square neighborhood. And yes, we’ve gotten so cool that we now have multiple Kidical Mass rides each month here in Chicago! I find that rather awesome. I try to keep the upcoming dates posted in my mini -calendar of events over on the right side of this blog, but you can also check out the Chicago Kidical Mass website for all the pertinent details.
We haven’t had any snow yet to speak of here in the city of Chicago ( a light dusting in December) and on the day of the ride it was close to 50 degrees (F)! Not usual this time of year. There was a rather chilly wind though. The warmer weather meant that we had a pretty good turnout which always makes for a fun ride for the kids. I did take some video of the ride and I hope to get that posted soon, though I’m new to the video editing world, so give me some time. In the meantime, enjoy these photos of the pre-ride gathering and riding bikes around the park in Palmer Square that usually occurs, as well as from the ride itself.
