We had a beautiful day for our Chicago Kidical Mass Ride – the Palmer Square edition – this month, it was bright and sunny, but not super hot. We had a great turnout too! Mr. Ding mysteriously disappeared that morning before we left the house for the ride,  only to re-appear with a couple of cupcakes boxes from West Town Bakery as a surprise treat to celebrate my birthday with all the Kidical Mass riders.  How cool was that!

As always, there were some great bikes to look at before the ride while we all socialized and the kids played.

And then we headed out on our ride around Palmer Square, through the Logan Square neighborhood.

Two burleys in a row.

This guy slept for most of the ride.

We made our way to the Algonquin Playlot where we unloaded the bikes, and the kids hit the playground.  After a cupcake break of course.

It was another fun ride, and a great birthday bike ride too.  Come join us on one of the monthly Kidical Mass rides here in Chicago – there are 3 of them to choose from in the Palmer Square,  Lincoln Square, and Hyde Park neigborhoods! Check out the Chicago Kidical Mass Facebook page for photos from recent rides and information on upcoming rides.
